English translation

Nothing is false that is true;
nothing is true that is false.
Everything is the opposite of dream,
of lie.

I based my German translation on yours here.
I think the last 2 lines should rather be
"Everything is the opposite of dream,
of lie"

Contrary and opposite have the same meaning, but I'll change it by your request. I'll also change the preposition de to 'for', although the English meaning here would be the same as 'with' (meaning concerning, or about). Cheers :-)

Thanks for your reply. The "contrary" wasn't what bothered me, but rather that you translate songe and mensonge as plurals.
Also, why "for"? "de" here means "to" or "of", as in "contrary to" or "opposite of".
I suggested "opposite" since it's a noun, like "contraire".

All good!, My take was that the lyrics spoke of the general concept of dreaming and lying being opposite. The singular made it sound odd to me, but if it is meant to to be more literal, I can see how the singular might work. I'll change it again. :-)

Great. Also, to avoid misunderstandings: You of course can also add the English part of the lyrics into the translation field. My remark in my request on translating only the French part was meant (if I remember correctly) to call attention to the fact that there is a French part in the text at all.
