I love the page! Maybe bring some attention to dialects too? I have made it my mission to bring attention to dialects and rare or not very well known languages onto this site, maybe a quick or brief summary on them?

It's a great idea!
We have only one day per week for a post about languages and linguistics though, but please feel free to make a topic in the subforum for this and share what you already have/find interesting and worthy of attention? And then we can decide on the best content together and compile posts from that.

Hi, the idea to bring the Facebook page back to life is great!

I was thinking about something like a weekly country presentation, for the people who like to explore different music on different languages - something like popular artists, popular song, traditional songs, some words about the country and its music, etc. We have many people coming from all over the world, so it would be great if they can summarize what they know and they think it's worth knowing about their country's music (or about a country they know a lot about). In that way the translations can be also popularized, and it may attract new people to the site too. Regular smile

This is a great idea as well, thank you!
At this point it's unclear (yet) how fb posts will be structured, so we're just trying out all these things at once? That's why we need to keep the discussion open etc.
But the main goal is for the LT's community to share and decide on the content they're interested in/want other people to see. So the best thing to do would be creating themed topics (e.g. for your 'music of the world') for everyone interested to share and compile their suggestions? I mean, first we have to organize it the best we can and then decide on what's most interesting to publish. And we can start publishing once we have some nice content Regular smile

To clear up some things,

before it was possible to embed FB posts in the message body directly, we just simply mirrored them. The original posts posted here have all been written for FB and originally posted there. Posted there, as was rightly mentioned, for PR purposes.

The reason for FB threads on LT forum is to allow anyone in the community, anyone who wants ofc, to write/share their own stuff that they’d want posted on FB. It might seem like pointless repetition, sorry for that confusion, but the whole point was to provide a space for collective ideas/info/etc, start own threads for that too. So that some of it could be shared on FB.

While I completely get the difference of opinion on Facebook, not one for this type of sns myself, it’s still a part of a lowkey LT promotion, so there’s that.

Informative posts are getting mirrored threads here to encourage people to create/share more content, related or not, anything they find worth posting about, for future FB posts. So, I mean, if you’re not bothered by FB and feel like providing whatever you find thematically appropriate, then do that for sure, it will only do good.
And thank you for all the feedback so far Regular smile

I am looking for the Turkish lyrics for the song "Soluk" by She Past Away. The translations I found online had many mistakes.

Wrong forum. The artist is on LT: http://lyricstranslate.com/en/she-past-away-lyrics.html
But the song isn't, so I've made a transcription request on your behalf:

You will be notified once someone has added the lyrics. After that, you can Request translation in the language of your choosing.
